The best thing about Mom is that she loves everyone. When God created her, he thought, well, I have to put Jen somewhere on this Earth, so I’ll give her Mom an extra big heart to handle that. Her love is endless and unconditional.
The best thing about Mom is that she believes in everyone. She gives them support in all that they pursue, even if she doesn’t quite understand it herself.
The best thing about Mom is that she’s sensitive to peoples’ emotions, fears and thoughts. Some may say it’s a curse, but I know it’s a blessing. She’s aware of their struggles and uses it to help them.
The best thing about Mom is that she always gives her best effort…she goes above and beyond it.
The best thing about Mom is that she cares about us more than she cares about herself — but I wish she would be more selfish sometimes because she deserves it. She has the truest servant’s heart.
The best thing about Mom is that she has infinite amounts of patience. I, unfortunately, have tested it too many times (P.S… I’m sorry!). And somehow, she always comes back with more patience.
The best thing about Mom is that she will do anything to help others. When Dad went on business trips, she had to cook more, and always asked us what we wanted to eat. And then she’d always make it! She’d even try everything my little sister baked when she was 7 and using her own recipes (I’m impressed to this day).
